The newly renovated hotel has been substantially upgraded by leading Hong Kong design firm A Work of Substance and is now set to be positioned as Hong Kong’s leading boutique hotel with a genuine sense of place that represents the city’s spirit.

The Fleming’s redesign, which has been a year in the making, takes its inspiration from Hong Kong’s iconic cross-harbour ferries and unique maritime heritage.

The restaurant has been conceived by one of Hong Kong’s leading culinary concept creators, Black Sheep Restaurants. All guests will also have complimentary continental breakfast served at Osteria Marzia as well as access to The Lounge; a communal space to relax and enjoy complimentary teas. To keep up with regular fitness routines, The Fleming has also arranged for hotel guests to use the brand new, full service fitness centre, Goji Studios which is within a five minute walk from the hotel.

The wooden floors, warm lighting and tones of bottle green and navy blue finished with brass detailing create an inviting space. Each room also features art and photography from Hong Kong based artists. Attention to detail and maximum functionality come across in the rooms design features. The lighting and power points are stylishly accessible from a switch board panel; in several of the rooms the desk flanks the headboard of the bed to create more space, while the open wardrobe, vanity and minibar are versatile and interconnected. All guestrooms come with a complimentary Handy integrated mobile device, Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs with Apple TV and multi-media panels. Comfort is also assured as beds are fitted with Sealy mattresses and luxury bed linens, while bathrooms feature the hotel’s bespoke bathroom amenities with different selections for morning and evening.
